Why is mindfulness important?

Mindfulness is important to our connection with self and our spiritual well-being. I incorporate it in most of my sessions and find it to be especially helpful in addressing anxiety and depression. Using CBT with a twist of mindfulness, you can learn to notice your body’s reaction to your thoughts and shift your perceptions.
